REEFERWEBTRANS WEB PANEL Quick User Guide Version 1.2.20 1. PURPOSE ReeferWebTrans Web Panel is a companion application for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. It simulates a Thermo King SLXi refrigeration unit on a separate browser screen and uses local game telemetry. The panel is not an official Thermo King or SCS Software product. 2. STARTING THE PANEL Start ReeferWebTrans Web Panel from the desktop shortcut. The panel opens in your default browser and its icon appears in the Windows notification area. No PowerShell window should remain on screen. The connection indicator at the top of the panel shows the telemetry state: green means connected to ETS2 or ATS; red means the panel is working without a game connection. 3. BASIC OPERATION Use the ON and OFF buttons on the left side of the controller to power the unit. The display follows the simulated controller start and shutdown sequence. The four soft keys below the display use the label currently shown above them. Follow the on-screen labels such as SET POINT, MENU, EXIT, SELECT, YES and NO. To change the setpoint, open SET POINT. Soft key 1 decreases the value and soft key 2 increases it. A short press changes one degree. Hold a key for about one second to scroll faster. Setpoint ranges: - Celsius: -20 C to +20 C - Fahrenheit: -4 F to +68 F 4. TEMPERATURE UNITS AND OPERATING MODE Open MENU on the standard display to use the controller menu. It allows the operator to choose Celsius or Fahrenheit and confirm the change with YES or NO. The setpoint and ambient temperature are converted automatically. The lower right button beside the display switches between the operating modes: - CONTINUOUS: the refrigeration unit runs continuously while cooling or heating. - CYCLE-SENTRY: the unit stops after reaching the setpoint and restarts when the temperature moves outside the simulated control range. The selected mode is retained separately for ETS2 and ATS. 5. TEMPERATURE, GATES AND FUEL The chamber temperature moves toward the setpoint while the unit is operating. After reaching the target, small natural temperature fluctuations are simulated. When the unit is off or out of fuel, chamber temperature gradually approaches ambient temperature. The Gates button selects the trailer door condition. Open doors make the chamber temperature approach ambient temperature faster. Door changes are available only while the truck is stopped. Each remembered trailer has its own 190 litre fuel tank. Fuel consumption depends on the operating mode and load. When the tank is empty, the refrigeration unit stops. Use the fuel button when it is available to refill the tank; the fill process is represented by a short sound and animation. With ETS2 or ATS connected, fuel use and temperature simulation follow game time. This includes time skipped during rest and ferry crossings. Without a game connection, real time is used instead. 6. SOUND Press the speaker button to open Sound settings. Inside and outside volumes can be adjusted independently. The sound changes automatically between cab and outside camera conditions. If the game is disconnected, outside sound is used. 7. PAUSE AND RESUME The PAUSE button is available only when the truck is stationary. It stores the current panel state and freezes the simulation. A red outline indicates that the panel is paused. The button changes to PLAY; press PLAY after loading the next game session to resume from the saved state. ETS2 and ATS use separate saved panel profiles, including units, trailer fuel, operating mode and paused state. 8. TRAY MENU Right-click the ReeferWebTrans icon in the Windows notification area to: - Open panel - Start or stop the local server - View About web panel and the installed version - Exit the panel Stopping the server or exiting the tray application stops the local web panel. 9. TROUBLESHOOTING WebSocket disconnected: - Start ETS2 or ATS and load a profile. - Confirm that the ReeferWebTrans telemetry DLL is installed in the game's bin\win_x64\plugins folder. - Restart the panel from its tray icon after installing or updating the plugin. The panel does not open: - Use Open panel in the tray menu. - If needed, select Start server and then Open panel. 10. UNINSTALLATION Open Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps, find ReeferWebTrans Web Panel and choose Uninstall. You can also run the installer again, decline the update and confirm complete removal. Website: https://www.reeferwebtrans.pro 11. INSTALLATION AND UPDATE (1.2.20) The installer now asks which games to configure. Select ETS2, ATS, or both; a path is required only for each selected game. Close ETS2, ATS and the panel via its tray menu before installing or removing it. Run the installer and confirm installation or update. Verify the detected game folders; leave an unused game field empty. The installer includes the web files, fonts, sounds and both plugins. No command line is required. The panel now uses a desktop application with a built-in local server. Launching it does not run PowerShell or VBS scripts. The address remains http://127.0.0.1:8080/ so existing browser profiles remain available. Keep using the same browser and do not clear its site data when updating. Uninstall through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Existing third-party camera plugins are preserved. Files replaced by another application after installation are also preserved. Browser site data is not erased by uninstall. This release changes installation and startup; simulation rules are unchanged.
